Selling the family home
It can feel overwhelming for the family when faced with an overflowing house that needs to be emptied and prepared for sale. Often the property needs internal clearout, maintance, and extensive garden rejuvenation.
Working senstively with the family, we first sat down and made a plan so that everyone understood the step by step process. A key first step was to obtain a professional property inspection to evaluate the building's condition so that my clients could target the most important repairs.
With the bulding inspection showing no major structual issues, the family could then establish a budget to target superficial updates to add value.We first engaged a processional deceased estate clearance company who thoughfully sorted personal items and emptied the house. Next we hired labourers for odd jobs accoss the property, an electrician for complaince, a garden team and pool contractors. In just under 2 months and on a tight budget, we cleared, cleaned, and prepped the vacant property for sale.
They wanted to downsize, but didnt know how to sell and buy another home.
